The VT-HEC Advantage

The VT-HEC Advantage is the ability to bring together experts who have a range of experience in a particular area of critical need and give them the opportunity, over an extended period of time, to design and deliver comprehensive and coherent programs. While many schools and organizations are still focusing on individual special events, inservice days or short-lived efforts, the VT-HEC is working to put into practice what is known about creating long-term effective professional development and school supports that result in the application of new knowledge and skills and improved educational practice.
